Everyone has different views about music. For me, I don’t think that there is any type of music that is boring and meaningless because they’re also made with care, love and passion. Every musician and singer makes and sings sincerely. That’s the reason that I hear almost every type of music.
In this world, there are still some music forms that are more popular than others but that will be changed by time. The reason I think is because their music attracts people, especially young people. The power from young people is unpredictable. The songs they sing may match people’s thoughts or even inspire them, and then almost everyone knows it and that will become more popular.
That’s take my favorite singer, Leehom Wang, for example. What he sings really attract me. Besides his good looking, he has an incredible talent for music and he is not proud for it. He can make his music by himself. He can also play the piano, violin, jazz tomtom, erhu fiddle…etc. He promotes “Environmental Protection” in his latest album “Change Yourself” which accords with what I’m trying my best to do since high school. He also encourages “Chick-out” in his music and makes his point on Chinese
culture which let me enjoy the beauty of Chinese words. “I put making people happy by music a top priority.”-this is what he said on TV. He also tried his best to join charity activities, like visiting the children in Philippines to know the situation there and help them. That why I admire him so much and that is also the reason that I think that is a popular singer in Asia.
